Data shows over 300,000 people have recovered from coronavirus across the world

BALTIMORE, Md. (WEAR) – As of Wednesday, more than 300,000 people have recovered from COVID-19, according to data from Johns Hopkins University's Coronavirus Resource Center.

Most of the recoveries were in China, with the nation reporting more than 77,000 individuals have recovered.

Spain, Germany, Iran and Italy also have reported recoveries in the tens of thousands, based on the Johns Hopkins data.

In the United States, there were more than 21,000 recoveries. Data shows the U.S. has reported the most positive cases nationwide at more than 399,000.
