A family in Hannibal bundled up to brave the frigid temperatures last week to put their creative skills to work.
Jessica Gaines, along with her husband Raymond and son Alex, constructed a colorful igloo that glows at night.
They froze water in cake pans and added food coloring to create ice blocks.
They dipped snow in water to use as mortar.
The family started building their igloo last Monday working between four to five hours a night.
By Thursday night, the family finished the igloo, which glows night thanks to flash lights.
