SAN ANTONIO – Tejano music icon Selena Quintanilla will be honored with a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2021 GRAMMY Awards next month.
Selena will be recognized along with Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five, Lionel Hampton, Marilyn Horne, Salt-N-Pepa and Talking Heads, according to a post on the official Selena Facebook page.
The award is another significant achievement that comes more than 25 years after the Queen of Tejano’s death in 1995.
Just two months ago, Selena was named the Greatest of All Time Latina Artiest by Billboard.
The GRAMMY Awards will take place on Sunday, January 31, 2021.
