If you've ever dreamed of becoming an international competitive-eating superstar, here's your chance!
A food-eating competition knows as the world's most elite is coming to San Antonio Feb. 23 for a qualifying event.
Nathan's Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog-Eating Contest will host the Texas qualifier at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo on Saturday, February 23.
"There is no greater honor on July 4 than competing against the greatest eaters in the world on the big stage in Coney Island," said Major League Eating Chair George Shea.
The top finishers in the male and female divisions will qualify for a seat at the annual July 4th competition held in Coney Island, Brooklyn. The reigning hot dog-eating champs are Joey Chestnut and Miki Sudo.
In case you're wondering, Chestnut ate a world-record 74 hot dogs at last year's competition. Sudo ate 37 hot dogs; all in just 10 minutes!
